just having fun :))) |
Everyone take v-day so serious honestly it’s pathetic. It’s like most people wait for that one ‘special’ day of the year to do something special or go to the extremes for the person they are with. Why not do it on a regular day? And more than once a year? Why wait for February 14 to come to do something special? Or to show your appreciation for someone. I know that not everyone is like this, but, for a lot of people it is like that, and I find it so stupid how people that v-day. It’s like people think that there’s only one day a year that you can show someone you love them, or show someone you appreciate them.
Another reason why I hate it even more is those “FOREVER ALONE DAY” or “SINGLE AWARENESS DAY” shit. It’s pathetic because it’s like you’re saying “oh I don’t have a bf/gf to celebrate v-day”. You don’t have to be in a relationship to do something on v-day, and what I hate about it, is that people make it seem like its more of a couples thing when it’s not. If they want to have a day of the year dedicated to love, then people need to realize that you do not have to be in a relationship to celebrate it. You have your friends and family that you love, you can celebrate it with them. Don’t just sit around and cry on v-day because you’re single. You have people in your life that you love, and that you appreciate, go have a fun day/night out with your friends or family instead of thinking about being single on the worst day of the year!
